Early Works
Don Ahn focused on natural subjects such as wind, earth, tree, sun, and mountain. He started to use acryl paint after he moved to the States, but his brushstrokes are still smooth as if he used inks, a signature medium that traditional Korean artists have used. Lines and shapes found in this series of works are delicate and exquisite.
